Noted

Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 July 2026

Noted is an Atlassian Forge app that lets teams request and record acknowledgement of Jira issues. This policy explains what it does — and does not — do with data.

Where your data lives

Noted runs entirely on Atlassian's Forge platform inside your own Atlassian cloud environment. It has no external servers and makes no network calls to any third party. Nothing you enter into Noted is transmitted outside Atlassian. The app is certified under Atlassian's Runs on Atlassian program (zero egress).

What Noted stores

To provide acknowledgement tracking, Noted stores the following in Atlassian Forge storage, scoped to your site:

Noted does not collect email addresses, passwords, payment information, IP addresses, or any usage analytics. It reads Jira issue, project, and user information only to display names and confirm you have permission to view the issues you act on.

Who can see it

Acknowledgement data is visible only to users of your Atlassian site who already have permission to view the relevant Jira issue or project. Noted enforces this on every request by checking your Jira permissions.

Retention & deletion

Records remain in your site's Forge storage until the issue's request is superseded by a new round or the app is uninstalled. Uninstalling Noted removes its stored data in accordance with Atlassian's Forge data-retention behaviour.

Data rights

Because all data stays within your Atlassian instance, requests to access, export, or delete personal data are handled through your own Atlassian administration. We can assist — contact us below.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will change. Material changes will be reflected in the app's Marketplace listing.
